General Booking & Payment
How do I book activities with BaliWaterSports.com?
You can book directly through our website by selecting your preferred activity and date. A booking is confirmed once a deposit payment is completed. After payment, you will receive a confirmation via email or WhatsApp.
Is a deposit required to book?
No. Most activities require a deposit to secure your slot. The remaining balance is paid on the activity day, as instructed in your confirmation.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept online payments through Stripe, including major credit and debit cards. Payment instructions are provided during checkout.
Can prices change after I book?
Prices may change at any time, but once your booking is confirmed and paid, your price is locked and will not change.
Cancellation, Changes & Refunds
What is your cancellation policy?
- More than 24 hours before activity: Full refund
- Less than 24 hours before activity: 50% cancellation fee
- No-show: 100% non-refundable
Once an activity has started, no refunds are given for any reason.
What if the activity is cancelled due to weather?
If we cancel due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, you may choose to:
- Reschedule to another date, or
- Receive a full refund
Can I change my booking date or time?
Changes are subject to availability and must be requested in advance. Last-minute changes may not be possible.
Safety & Participation Rules
Is a safety briefing provided?
Yes. All participants must attend a safety briefing before the activity. Following staff instructions is mandatory at all times.
Do I need to know how to swim?
Swimming skills are not required. Life jackets are provided and must be worn throughout the activity.
Can I participate if I have a medical condition?
You must be physically and mentally fit to participate. If you have any medical condition (heart problems, pregnancy, injuries, etc.), you must inform our staff before booking. Participation may be refused for safety reasons, without refund.
Are alcohol or drugs allowed?
No. Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused service with no refund.
Age, Height & Rider Requirements
Is there a minimum age to join activities?
Age limits vary by activity. Some activities allow children, while others have stricter requirements.
What is the minimum age to operate a Jet Ski?
- Operating a Jet Ski (Solo): Minimum 17 years old
- Operating a Jet Ski with Instructor Onboard minimum age 7 years old with Parent/Guardian consent
Are there height or child supervision rules?
Children under 15 years old or below 145 cm must be accompanied by an adult where applicable.
Fun Jet Ski Experience (VX700 & VX 1050)
What is the Fun Jet Ski Experience?
The Fun Jet Ski Experience is designed for casual riders looking for excitement without advanced training. It is available for solo and double rides only using models such as the VX700 and VX 1050.
What is the minimum age for Jet Ski Experience?
Participants must be at least 17 years old to join the Fun Jet Ski Experience.
Is the ride supervised?
Yes. Riders operate the Jet Ski within clearly defined zones. A professional guide rides on a separate Jet Ski, acting as:
- Zone supervisor
- Safety monitor
- Rescue support
Riders must stay within the allowed zones at all times.
Can I ride freely anywhere?
No. Riding is restricted to approved zones only. Leaving the designated area or riding dangerously may result in immediate termination of the activity without refund.
Equipment, Damage & Responsibility
Is safety equipment included?
Yes. Life jackets and required safety equipment are provided and must be worn.
What happens if I damage the equipment?
Participants are financially responsible for any damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow instructions.
Can staff stop the activity?
Yes. Our staff may terminate any activity if safety rules are violated. In such cases, no refunds will be issued.
Weather & Operational Conditions
What happens if sea conditions change during the activity?
Activities may be stopped or adjusted for safety reasons. Once an activity has started, no refunds are given.
Are activities always guaranteed?
No. All activities are subject to:
- Weather conditions
- Sea conditions
- Operational safety decisions

Transportation & Logistics
Do you provide hotel pickup?
Transportation availability depends on the activity and location. Pickup details are confirmed after booking if applicable.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
- Swimwear
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Change of clothes
Valuables should be kept to a minimum.
Insurance, Risk & Legal
Is insurance included?
Activities are conducted under operator insurance, but water sports involve inherent risks, including injury, equipment failure, and environmental factors.
Who is responsible in case of injury?
By participating, you acknowledge the risks involved and agree to release Bali Water Sports and its partners from liability, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
Which law governs these activities?
All activities are governed by Indonesian law, with disputes handled in Bali courts.
